Learning Analytics is #1 in 2020 Global Sentiment Survey

The L&D Global Sentiment Survey is a multi-country survey conducted by Don Taylor, asking the question “What will be hot in workplace learning in 2020?” Learning Analytics was at the top of this list.

The Performitiv team is thrilled to see this. Each day we speak to global L&D organizations that are looking to have collaborative, not controversial, conversations about the impact L&D makes on people and results. In the past several years, not much has changed, as surveys are complex and reports are cumbersome.

At Performitiv, we’re modernizing learning analytics. It starts with our Impact Optimization Model which was built with the input of many world-class learning organizations and focuses on gathering evidence of value in the form of practical and scalable job impact ratings. However, the model is also about retrieving outcome indicators from the business in the form of key metrics to trend and track over time. Together, impact ratings and outcome indicators tell a story of learning’s contribution and connection to people and results. Using tools like annotation and association make the stories come to life in collaborative, not controversial, ways.

The Performitiv technology not only automates the Impact Optimization Model, it uses modern, secure API connections to integrate with feeder systems such as an LMS. This integration is a reliable connection that automates the data tagging from the LMS to the analytics engine to simplify data collection and reporting in a dramatic fashion.

It is also important to note that the L&D Global Sentiment Survey lists several learning deliveries in the spots below learning analytics. These include adaptive deliveries, collaborative learning, learning experience platforms and micro learning. The Performitiv technology has API connections for these deliveries too. For example, Performitiv APIs are used to connect with Degreed or LinkedIn Learning to simplify and consolidate feedback when learners use on-demand content from platforms like these. The APIs record the data tags from within the content, as well as attributes of the learners themselves, to report learner sentiment with clarity and precision.

The research from the Sentiment Survey comes as no surprise to us. That’s why Performitiv is the fastest growing learning measurement software in the market, but it’s different. We focus on telling the story of learning impact in practical, yet credible, ways.  We’ve worked with learning leaders to re-imagine learning analytics.  Data collection is simple.  Outputs focus less on reports and more about sharing impact on people, programs and results, and we do this cost effectively, roughly a rounding error in most L&D budgets.  We have affordable solutions and our metrics support a culture of learning in a data-driven way.  We do this for both formal learning, conferences and programs, as well as on-demand and micro learning, so all of your learning experience metrics are in one place.

Do you want to learn more? Performitiv has an invitation-only event taking place in Chicago on March 11-12, where L&D professionals will gather to discuss learning measurement and learn more about our platform.  The event is free of charge but is an invitation-only event. To review in more detail, go to: https://performitiv.com/2019/10/10/learning-measurement-tech-summit/.  If you would like to join us, Contact Us and we will review your request to attend. If you can’t make the event, but want to discuss learning analytics in more detail to learn how Performitiv is changing the game, Contact Us and we’ll set a time to chat.

Thank you,

The Performitiv Team
